A challenge to Montreal’s tech entrepreneurs…

Here’s one for you local geeks and independent business dudes (and dudettes)… One of the local non-profit I am helping out (sitting on the board) is Atwater Digital Literacy project.

The Atwater Digital Literacy Project, a project of the Atwater Library, gets kids and community groups using creative web technologies (blogging, audio, video, digital photos) to find new ways to talk about things important to them, and to help them build their communities.

They are looking for support. Here is my challenge to you all. They are trying to raise an extra 5000$ in a short amount of time. If you are a local tech entrepreneur, take 100$ of your hard earned cash and give it to them. And blog about the project. It’s easy. And good karma is sure to follow…

I will be bugging you about it at the next Montreal Technology Entrepreneurs Breakfast Meetup! I figured 100$ was small enough to be achievable by most independent consultants or entrepreneur and big enough to make a difference. Will you?
